Sweet Lemon Loaf


We tried this bread for the first time this week, and both my husband and I LOVED it! The lemon flavor added kick to this moist sweet bread. Double the recipe, cause one loaf only lasts a few seconds!  Click here for Jessie Steele Apron Giveaway details. 

Ingredients: 
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1/2 t Salt
2 t Baking Powder
1 Cup Sour Cream 
3 Eggs
1 Cups Sugar
3 t Grated Lemon Zest
1/2 t Vanilla
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt and set aside. In another bowl combine sour cream, sugar, eggs, lemon zest and vanilla. Slowly whisk the dry ingredients into the wet. After the two mixtures are well combine, stir in vegetable oil. Pour batter into a prepared 8 1/2 by 4 1/2 pan (grease and flour well, this bread likes to stick). Bake for 50 minutes.
