Grandma's Old Fashioned Pancakes

I don't remember where I found this recipe-- but it is really good. I just have it sloppily written on a well worn old utility bill (ouch, and it's an Arizona summer utility bill, ouch!!). Anyway, this is Grandma's Old Fashioned Pancakes.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
4 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions:

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and butter; mix until smooth.

Heat a lightly oiled griddle to medium high heat. Pour the batter onto the griddle. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

*hugs*
